It's a hotel restaurant at T4, but no ordinary diner. Many creative items on the menu with international flair. Servers very kind and efficient. Pricy of course, but everything was done well. Recommend.

This was my worst meal while in the U.K. I am allergic to milk and every other restaurant we have visited has been very accommodating. After our waitress talked with the chef, I was told the only item I could have was baked fish and boiled potatoes. When the food came out there was no seasoning, not even salt or pepper, or oil added. The fish was soggy and the potatoes were completely dry. Our table was also out of salt. We had to wait a very long time to get any water. We waited a total of 2 hours for service total before we paid for our meal. Very poor service, bad food, and it was over priced.

The food is surprisingly good (Urban salad, mushroom risotto, creme brulee, and IPA), but the service is frustratingly poor. The wait staff try their best, but they are very understaffed.

I was expecting so much more from this restaurant with all of the awards they display right outside of it. Don't be fooled. It doesn't mean anything. The service was kinda cold and unfriendly, which I overlooked until our food came 20 min later. I ordered the baby back ribs even though I knew it wasn't going to be as good as the ones I've had in Texas. They weren't. The chips were the best part of the meal because they were crunchy and well seasoned. I also had the mashed potatoes, and they tasted like something you'd make out of a mix. Very pricy restaurant for something with less than average food.

The food is fabulous--creative cuisine, beautiful presentation. However, the menu's description of the food is somewhat less than helpful. For example, "assiette of heirloom tomato variations" is fancy for a really beautiful salad made of a variety of tomatoes--but with toasted pine nuts and the most unusual edible decorative centerpiece (possibly tomato aspic made to look like a green tomato?). Or herb crusted lamb loin which was accompanied by a cauliflower puree and a spiced aubergine "caviar" that were all to die for. Four, maybe even five stars for the food. Therein, lies the rub. Food of this caliber should be accompanied by equally high quality service. The service was appallingly slow. I requested a second glass of wine (15+ minutes later a waiter brought me my wine--not the one I had ordered--but my food was already tepid and I didn't want to wait even longer for a corrected order. Upon finishing my meal I waited an additional 15+ minutes for the cheque. They automatically build a tip in for themselves so there really isn't incentive to put the customer first. Instead, other customers, like myself, who were travel weary, sat and waited while multiple servers set the tables for the morning rush. A sad way to finish out an otherwise lovely meal. This wasn't an issue of being understaffed. It felt more like an issue of "we've already made our tip, so you can jolly well sit and wait." So, it's a toss up--if you've got a good book to read, or a pleasant dining partner, then the slow service is worth enduring for the fine faire.
